The Combustion Institute
The Combustion Institute is an international learned society whose purpose is to promote and disseminate research into combustion science and engineering.
The British Section of the Combustion Institute organises meetings and workshops on the science and engineering of combustion, from fires and explosions to gas turbines and engines. We promote and encourage the work of young and established investigators through a number of research awards, as well as travel grants to key meetings of the institute.
