The Gaydon Prize 2024 Panel

For the 2024 Gaydon Award, 18 articles were published in the Proceedings of the Combustion Institute volume 40 (2024). The Panel Chair gave 6 papers to each of the Panel members who were asked to select two papers for further consideration (a total of six), where no paper was given to a panel member of the same institutions. Any panel member(s) who had a paper in the shortlisted or had a conflict of interest, were replaced by a member of the CIBS Committee. Final selection was done using consensus voting, where all final papers were ranked.

The Panel members were:

• Prof Epaminondas Mastoraskos (Cambridge)

• Dr Liu Tian (Loughborough)
